Morning or afternoon teas are a staple at the office – birthdays, farewells or just any old catch up.

Sure, these get-togethers provide a wonderful mix of great company, tasty snacks and tea, but it’s very easy to accidentally have nothing but cake and muffins for lunch. Fortunately there are healthier ways to enjoy morning or afternoon tea!

Here are some of our favourite treats that are satisfying, healthy and tasty.

What’s a morning or afternoon tea without a slice of cake?

If you know someone who likes banana cake (don’t we all?) then they will just love this traditional bake.

And hey, our mini carrot cakes are pretty hard to resist too. Sneaky vegetables increase the vitamin and fibre content of these little beauties.

Serve both treats up in a decorative long-stemmed glass and they will look oh-so fancy.

- Sprinkle parmesan, garlic powder and shredded basil over fresh popcorn for a cheesy herb punch.

Ditch the soft drinks and juices – these waters are far fancier
